Located six miles north of Council Grove, you will feel like you are fifty miles from the chaos of city life! This is the hub of wildlife activity; this old limestone house is a favorite destination for hunters, fishermen, and nature lovers!
This limestone cottage was built in 1863, and is located on the Old Homestead Ranch, which was homesteaded in 1859. Having only five rooms total, it is a small cottage, but what it lacks in indoor size, it more than makes up for in outdoor space and character.
* Central heat and air conditioning
You will likely wake up to deer in the yard, or have to stop for turkeys crossing the road. You can canoe or fish on Munkres Creek, or just relax with a cold drink by the campfire. It is perfect for a family wanting to taste the quiet rural life, a group of buddies wanting to hunt or fish, or groomsmen for the wedding at Lull Meadows Little Red Schoolhouse!
Estimated rate to reserve the Riely Cottage is $150 per night. One may also inquire about rates that include hunting on property.
